Welcome! I'm Jessie Taylor (she/her) , Founder of New Leaf Administration.
I’m a proud mom, wife, artist, and certified Trauma-Informed Coach with over 20 years of experience spanning the healthcare, government, private and non-profit sectors, gaining a diverse and deep understanding of the critical “behind the scenes” efforts that drive success.
Now my mission is to flex my top skills as a business partner and certified Trauma-Informed Coach, empowering small and mid-sized businesses, community-based organizations, and entrepreneurs to grow strategically while creating inclusive, healing-centered environments.
Having worked on the front lines in the social impact sector, including managing the operations of a safe house for youth exiting sexual exploitation and human trafficking, and supporting mental health, wellness, and harm reduction initiatives. I now specialize in providing trauma-informed training and consulting services to organizations looking to implement trauma-informed principles into their organizational culture.
I’ve had the privilege of speaking on topics such as trauma-informed principles, human trafficking in Nova Scotia, women in business, mental health and well-being, navigating career transitions and issues women face in leadership.
When I’m not helping businesses grow or dreaming up new ways to support survivors of trauma, you’ll find me reading way too many books, gardening, painting, and embarrassing our kids with my funky dance moves and singing!
If you're still reading and interested in connecting, please reach out! I love supporting others and learning the creative ways we could support one another in our goals <3
In solidarity,
Jessie
